Everything, in one place

Not covered here? Ask us directly — we answer plainly.

Which parts of central London do you cover?

The whole City of Westminster — SW1, W1 and WC2. That takes in Westminster and Whitehall, Victoria, Pimlico, Belgravia, Mayfair, Marylebone, St James’s, Soho and Covent Garden, along with the streets on their edges.

Do you handle the access issues — permits, red routes, loading windows?

Yes, that is a large part of what we do. We plan the Congestion Charge and ULEZ, red-route restrictions, permit and meter parking, tight loading windows, and any porter or lift booking the building requires — all arranged before the day rather than improvised on it.

Can you move art, antiques and other valuable pieces?

We can. Art, antiques, mirrors, chandeliers and pianos are wrapped with proper materials and carried by people who handle such pieces every week, with cover confirmed in writing. Tell us what is going and we will plan the handling around it.

How do you work out the price?

From a proper survey — in person or by video — of what is moving and the access at both ends. You then receive a clear written quote. We don’t give a figure over the phone and hope, and we never show a price before we understand the address.

Do you move offices as well as homes?

Yes. Offices, chambers and studios around Victoria, Mayfair and St James’s — planned around your working hours, out of hours or over a weekend where that protects trading, with IT handled and reconnected and storage for anything surplus.

Do you move abroad, or only within central London?

Both. Alongside local removals we run planned road moves from Westminster to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with the customs paperwork handled for you — packed and surveyed the same way as a local job.

How far ahead should we book?

The earlier the better, particularly for prime addresses where loading windows and permits take arranging. As soon as you have a likely date, get in touch and we will hold it and start planning the access.

Can you move from a listed building or a mansion block with a porter?

Yes — much of Westminster is listed or sits in a conservation area, and mansion blocks are the norm. We coordinate with porters and building management, protect communal areas and lifts, and work within the building’s rules so the move is calm and unobtrusive.

Do you pack for us, or do we pack ourselves?

Whichever you prefer. We can pack the whole home with proper materials and a labelled inventory, pack only the fine and fragile pieces, or supply materials for you to do it yourself. Unpacking and placement at the other end is available too.

Are you discreet about high-profile or sensitive addresses?

Discretion is part of the service. We are used to embassy streets, members’ clubs and well-known addresses, and we handle them quietly and professionally, without fuss and without comment.

What about the Congestion Charge and ULEZ — is that on us?

No — that is part of the job. Central London’s charging and low-emission zones, red routes and parking controls all shape how and when we load, and we factor them into the plan rather than leaving them for you to sort.

Are you insured?

Yes, our moves are fully insured, and we confirm the cover in writing with your quote. For anything unusually valuable — a painting, a piano, antiques — tell us in advance so it is handled and covered appropriately.

Do you take on smaller jobs?

We do — a single room, a few pieces, a careful gallery collection or a student move. That is our man-and-van service, with a driver and a van sized honestly to the job and the same handling standard as a full move.

How quickly will you come back with a quote?

Once we have your details and, where needed, have surveyed the move, we will send a written quote promptly — usually within a working day or two. The more you tell us up front, the quicker it is.

What happens with customs when we move to Europe?

We handle it. A UK-to-EU household move now needs the right paperwork — a detailed inventory, transit and customs documents, and proof of residence for relief where it applies. We prepare and manage that as part of the move.

Can you collect from outside Westminster?

Yes. Westminster is our base, but for European moves in particular we collect from across the UK — London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and beyond. Just tell us the pickup address.
